Latitude Villa in Barbados is a luxury 3 bedroom villa with private plunge pool located on Gibbs Beach in St Peter on the very exclusive west coast. Gibbs is arguably the best beach on the island of Barbados. It is much quieter then many of the other beaches. It has pristine white sand, very calm waters and lots of natural shade from the palm trees. The beach stretches all the way to Mullins Beach further north.
As you enter the gates of latitude, you will not fail to be impressed by the private gated entrance and the beautiful coral stone Caribbean architecture of the villa. Despite the fact that the house has only 3 bedrooms, it has the look and feel of a much larger luxury villa with a wonderful sense of space and openness over two floors.
Latitude indulges our guests with the best of both worlds. A terrace and plunge pool just steps from the sea, tropical gardens and swaying palms and wonderful Caribbean luxury. The terrace is perfectly designed for entertaining. There is ample seating and sun loungers, as well as a wet bar, barbeque, high speed internet access and state of the art audio and entertainment system. There is also a lovely outdoor dining area for 6 people.
Latitude has three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 guests. Two of them are located upstairs and one on the ground floor. The two bedrooms upstairs are comparable in size and décor making it a good choice for two couples or a family. They both have King Beds and stunning views. One of our favourite features of Latitude is the upstairs terrace which is accessed by a central door. It is huge and the view is stunning from here and has a lovely sea breeze during the day and at night.
In addition, there is a small air-conditioned gymnasium on the upper floor and a small study on the ground floor. The kitchen is open plan with the living area and is very modern with every imaginable modern convenience. The villa has touch pad high technology controls for lighting, alarm, shutter and music.
The gardens are very mature and are full of exotic shrubs and tropical flowers lending a lovely feel of privacy to Latitude.
Latitude is a true home from home by the sea. A place to enjoy the sun and the soft breezes, relax and take lovely long strolls along Gibbs Beach.
STAFF
One of the most wonderful aspects of Latitude is the team comprising of Maggie and Cameron who will be on hand 6 days per week to look after you. Cameron is a great cook and Maggie is always enthusiastic and has a smile on her face.

Unavailable OCT 2016 - I loved Latitude! The staff Maggie & Cameron gave us such a warm welcome & prepared wonderful meals for us & the villa itself is real beachfront luxury. My favourite spot is the upstairs terrace- enjoying the cooling breeze while taking in the seaview. Great location for taking beach walks & pristine swimming directly in front. Also I loved that the master & 2nd bedrooms are very comparable - both enjoying the view & spacious...good to know for couples travelling together.
