Property Description
Merlin Bay Nutmeg is a lovely 3 bedroom beach front villa with private plunge pool and lovely sea views. It is located within the Merlin Bay development in the mainly residential and very prestigious area called The Garden on the platinum west coast of Barbados.
Merlin Bay is one of our most popular developments and it is easy to fall in love with Nutmeg villa. The development comprises of just 8 villas each with their own private plunge pool which surround a beautiful and large lagoon style communal pool shared between all the residents. Surrounding the pool, there are plenty of sun beds to choose from and also plenty of natural shade should you want some protection from the sun.The pool area leads directly to the beach. You will hear the waves lapping at the shore as you settle in.
The gardens are beautifully tropical, very mature and very spaced out so even at busy times, Merlin Bay always has a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility. The beach here is not so well known as some of the other beaches on the island of Barbados but it is a really lovely stretch of beach with plenty of white sand, calm water for swimming and natural shade from the palm trees.
Nutmeg is a well appointed three bedroom villa spread over two floors. It has a wonderfully relaxed feel about it yet you will still get a sense of luxury. The Master bedroom is located on the first floor has a King bed and has a lovely view and balcony. The second room has a King bed that leads to a veranda with dining area and the ground floor bedroom has two singles which can be made up as a double and opens directly onto the plunge pool area and terrace.
The ground floor has an indoor dining area and a sunken sitting room which opens onto the terrace, plunge pool and a small outdoor dining area. On clear nights, it is lovely to have dinner al fresco under the stars. You can also eat on the upstairs dining terrace which features some really nice painted murals as well as lovely pool and ocean views.
Just steps from the central coral stone deck lead down to a secluded white beach and the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea.
The location of Merlin Bay couldn’t be more central. It is roughly mid way between Holetown to the south and Speightstown to the north. In Holetown there is a wonderful selection of shopping, restaurants and bars to choose from. Our complimentary in house concierge and online concierge will be delighted to help you with bookings

STAFF
There is a fantastic villa team that looks after this property to ensure it is kept at a very high standard. Housekeeping is included two mornings per week, though additional housekeeping and a cook service can be arranged at an extra fee if required.
