Welcome to Sugar Hill Eden, a wonderfully appointed 5-bedroom villa residing within the highly regarded Sugar Hill community, on the western hillsides of Barbados.
A tropical paradise befitting of its name, Eden promises a heavenly experience for all who pass through its doors. A colonial-style Caribbean villa of impressive proportions, Eden is surrounded by a carefully cultivated acre of lush, green foliage, shrouding it from the outside world as well as providing welcome shade for Barbados’ hot climate. The grandeur of the villa makes itself known, especially to the rear, where a sweeping terrace, framing a large private swimming pool, greets you from the moment you step out from the veranda. Sun loungers and parasols are arranged around the edge of the pool, catching the best of the sun’s rays; if the heat gets too much, a quick dip in the cool waters of the pool is sure to leave you emerging refreshed and revitalized. One of the main contenders to be the social hub of the villa, the terrace is abundant with comforts; a poolside gazebo offers an al fresco arrangement for casual meals, get-togethers and enjoying evenings on the terrace with a drink after a delicious dinner. The well-manicured garden that is filled with beautiful flora offers plenty of space to stroll among its flowers and take shade beneath leafy canopies. Ideal for intimate events, the villa staff are more than willing to meet your desires for whatever you wish to celebrate.
Lovers of indoor-outdoor living will feel completely at home within Eden’s walls, with just as much emphasis placed on enjoying the exterior as well as what resides inside. The open-plan layout of the villa lends itself to keeping it cool and airy, alongside the lofty ceilings and tiled floors. The colour palette takes inspiration from beyond the glass; vibrant pinks, blues and greens are used tastefully among the ornate furnishings, using deep-hued woods to provide a pleasant contrast to the beiges of the walls and textiles throughout. The large lounge area expands outwards, with direct access to the terrace and an abundance of comfortable couches and chairs to sink into. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen, in the hands of a capable chef, can rise to the challenge of any request; the dining table on the upper terrace provides a magnificent view out onto the surrounding garden and sensational sunsets beyond the tree line.
Four of the fabulous bedrooms of Eden are to be found within the main villa itself, the remaining fifth in a cottage adjacent, a quiet retreat set aside for extended family or friends. Each of the five bedrooms enjoy their own en-suite bathroom for added privacy, as well as their own access to the terrace.

Located on the midwestern edge of the island in the parish of St. James, Eden enjoys a west-facing façade; glimpses of the ocean are visible beyond the thickets of foliage that surrounds the property, and the golden light of the fading sun filters through the trees into the garden and terrace each evening. Ideally placed for both privacy and security, while allowing guests easy access to all Barbados has to offer, Speightstown lies north, Holetown to the south. Holetown is the closest area to the villa for retail therapy, with a plethora of shops, restaurants, boutiques, spas and much more, just a quick 5-minute drive away. A multitude of golf courses are also within easy reach. Thanks to the unique land formation of Barbados, there’s plenty of natural wonders on display, like Harrison’s Cave, an underground limestone cavern, or Barbados Wildlife Reserve, which allows visitors to stroll through the land natural habitat of these exotic indigenous creatures.

Unavailable Absolutely PERFECT stay!!!! We stayed at Eden (or should we call it "Paradise"!!!) for 3 weeks over June/July 2016. We were all there as a family with friends which consisted of 8 adults and 2 children. The adults are all seasoned visitors to Barbados (having been on holiday there about 15 times) and are used to high end accommodation. Eden matched and even surpassed our expectations. The villa was in a great location on Sugar Hill with amazing accommodation and outstanding gardens. The villa is superbly maintained and beautifully decorated with high class furnishings which have been tastefully chosen to complement the lovely Barbadian sunshine!!! All the staff do a fantastic job with Jeffrey supervising all the arrangements, organising cocktails and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. What can we say about Karon - the food was exceptional and she was happy to "cook to order" if we fancied something special. There was not one meal that we did not enjoy and we can't give her tooooo much praise. When we were looking for a villa we had slight reservations about the pool being described as "salt water". However we thought it was brilliant as you couldn't taste any salt and the children who were in the pool most of the time did not suffer from the usual chemical reaction which you can experience with the normal chemical pools. Overall an unbelievable experience and will certainly be back to enjoy this exceptional villa. We can all thoroughly recommend Eden to any one looking for a luxury villa in a superb location with exceptional staff.
