Bedrooms
All of the five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a combination of King, Queen, and twin beds to suit most requirements. The cottage is completely built of old coral stone and has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, a kitchen, and 2 patios - an ideal arrangement for two families or groups of friends. Being private and having a fabulous west coast location with the beach, restaurants, and nightlife allows guests to get away from it all. Villa Melissa Barbados also benefits from wireless internet for those bringing their own laptops and wishing to keep in touch.
Local Area
Villa Melissa is located on the exclusive west coast of Barbados in the parish of St. James. Holetown with its chic & trendy café’s & bars is less than a 5-minute drive away. Limegrove Mall designer mall is also located there & is great to meander around. The more traditional Chattel shops are always popular with guests looking for gifts & authentic Bajan work. There are a host of superb restaurants to choose from should you choose to leave the comfort of your villa. Our concierge Rowena is happy to assist with recommendations on everything from restaurant reservations to boat trips, spa treatments, car hire, airport transfers & everything else in between!

Thank you to Patricia, Nicole and Grace for looking after us all so well and making our stay a dream holiday. Patricia’s cooking was always fabulous and Nicole made sure we always had everything we needed. Grace made sure our rooms were always spotless and our laundry was all done !! We wish we could take you all home with us, the kids will miss you all as much as us. We would love to come back to Villa Melissa soon. Hi Paul,
Thank you for your email below and apologises for the delay in responding as it has been extremely hectic since my return from Barbados. I felt it important to give you some feedback about our stay at Villa Melissa.
Two words to describe the villa is ‘’Absolutely fabulous!” The 3 staff, Patricia, Rodney and Grace were extremely good and far exceeded our expectations. They could not do enough for us during our stay. Patricia the cook was excellent and her cooking was of a very high standard. She was that good, my friends and I just wanted to stay in for dinner most nights.
Grace the housekeeper was exceptionally good and kept every area in the villa spick and span. The villa itself was very spacious even with the 7 of us staying there and with the very large swimming pool it accommodated 7 of us very comfortably. I loved the outside bar especially with Rodney keeping us well stocked up with Banks Beers. It was the most popular place in the villa where we would gather together, sit, chat, drink and listen to music as well as having a sing song.
Another area which I loved was the lounge area on the patio which gave shelter from the sun. Overall the villa is an ideal location and so close to the beach. I enjoyed the 20 minute walk along the beach to Holetown which I did every day. My friends said it was the best holiday they ever had.
Each morning I worked for a few hours and found the internet was excellent. It was very fast with no delays which is very important.
All in all I would give Villa Melissa 10 out of 10.
