Waverly House Barbados is a three-bedroom quintessential Coral Stone Beach House located on one of the best beaches on the island of Barbados. Waverly House has its location on the shores of the stunning beach at Gibbs Bay. The villa enjoys panoramic views of the pristine white beach and turquoise sea. Gibbs Beach is one of the only residential areas on the west coast of Barbados and consequently the beach and surroundings are much quieter and more peaceful than other areas on the island of Barbados. Gibbs Beach is a crescent shape, and it is possible to walk along here at low tide and go as far as Mullins beach.
The architecture of Waverly House in Barbados is traditionally Barbadian in style. The use of exposed coral stone throughout the house gives a feeling of warmth and homeliness. On the ground floor, three-floor to ceiling oval-shaped doors open right up to the terrace, plunge pool and garden area. This openness facilitates indoor/outdoor living for its occupants. It also ensures breathtaking views from most of the rooms in the house.
The décor in Waverly is primarily Caribbean Chic with whitewashed wooden ceilings, exposed coral stone walls complemented by local art.
The ground floor areas are mainly open plan with a separate fully equipped kitchen. These living areas open directly onto the verandah, which has a beautiful dining area for up to six people and a circular sitting area. The verandah is the perfect place to enjoy a sunset cocktail with a friend and loved ones. The mature private gardens are home to a small plunge pool and tropical trees which provide natural shade. Access to the beach is via a private gate.
Waverly House in Barbados has three lovely bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has ceiling fans are fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom is en-suite and leads directly onto a private balcony. The second and third bedrooms both share a bathroom. Bedroom two has a terrace and bedroom 3 has a garden view.
The garden at Waverly is very private and has a lovely plunge pool should you wish to cool down. There are plenty of sunbeds and a hammock at the end of the garden where you can relax, read a book or just enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean.
Waverly House is perfect for clients who enjoy a variety of watersports. There are excellent swimming and snorkeling directly in front of the villa. The villa is within easy reach of nearby Speightstown which offers some good restaurants and local shops. The chic town of Holetown is less than a 10-minute drive from Waverly House. Holetown provides an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and boutiques.

Waverly House has its location on one of the best beaches on the west of Barbados. Gibbs Beach is famous for its white sands and calm turquoise waters. It is also considered to be one of the quietest beaches on the island because all the properties are high-end private homes and villas. It is possible to walk to Mullins Beach, and there is a lovely new beach bar where they serve a great rum punch and casual food. The driving distances from Waverly House are as follows:
