Welcome to Emerald Beach, one of Barbados loveliest beachfront holiday villas nestled on a beautiful palm-fringed, crescent-shaped shoreline right on stunning Gibbs Beach, which stretches northwards towards Mullins Bay. There are just six semi-detached villas in total each of which is nestled in a tropical garden oasis brimming with colourful shrubs and sweet-smelling flowers. This particular area of St Peter is lovely and tranquil.
Ixoria is a fully air-conditioned three-bedroom villa located over two floors. It has lovely views of the sea, especially from the Master Bedroom. As you enter the door, you will feel yourself unwinding and relaxing. The laid back atmosphere together with the huge welcoming smile from your housekeeper makes it a complete sanctuary.
The beautiful open plan sitting and dining room features floor to ceiling doors that open right up to the Terrace and Gazebo giving you the ultimate indoor/outdoor experience. The Gazebo is the perfect place for relaxing, enjoying a cocktail or dining with friends and family. There are three en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and is located on the first floor at the front and has a lovely view and terrace. There is a second bedroom on the first floor with Twin beds and the third bedroom located on the ground floor has a King-sized bed.
Additional features of this lovely villa include a flat screened TV, Hairdryer, DVD player, BBQ, security Safe, ceiling fans and wireless broadband connection.
On the grounds of Emerald Beach, you will be able to enjoy a really beautiful free-form swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and chairs for relaxation. The stunning white sandy beach at Gibbs is just a few steps from Ixoria. Here you will enjoy swimming in the incredibly warm and calm azure sea. For the more energetic, there is an abundance of water sports available on the beach.
There is a good selection of beach bars, and restaurants close to Mullins Bay and Speightstown is just a few minutes drive from Emerald Beach where there is a good selection of shops including a supermarket, bakery, and bank. Golfing is available in nearby Westmoreland and Holetown is also just a 15-minute drive away where you will find some really good local and designer shopping.
STAFF: Just so that you feel totally pampered, Ixoria at Emerald Beach comes with your own housekeeper who will be on hand with a big smile to look after you six days per week. If you do decide to leave the sanctuary that is Emerald Beach, there is an incredible selection of wonderful beachside restaurants just a short drive away.

Unavailable We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights at Emerald Beach Ixoria in October 2018. It's a lovely villa & the location is definitely exceptional - right on Gibbs beach. My favourite thing was swimming & liming in the pristine water here - I also loved walking the beach, you can walk all the way along onto Mullins Beach.
The cook Gemma & housekeeper Nikki took great care of us all and Nikki even took care of my laundry which was a treat! Gemma was so easy to chat with & prepared delicious breakfasts for us each morning. On one evening we had a delicious meal of fried fish, vegetable & potatoes with a brulee desert. It was such a lovely setting with candles lit on the dining table on the terrace, listening to the waves! Heaven!
Good to know each bedroom has its own private balcony/terrace space with seaview. Robes in all the bathrooms. No aircon in the living area so it's jut lovely to open up all the door & windows in the living area & get the cooling sea breeze & enjoy the views.
Families & beach lovers will LOVE Emerald Beach. I'd highly recommend.
This is a quiet area with 6 rental properties, communal swimming pool and is on the cusp of Gibbs beach. The villas all have 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs) and a lovely terrace area for dining al fresco. You will have a cook and a housekeeper who are very friendly and knowledgeable of the island. Gibbs Beach is great for swimming and snorkelling and the famous Mullins Beach is right next door. Happy to recommend a stay here.
