Welcome to the spectacular Mango Bay, a truly luxurious villa combining old world charm with modern-day comforts in a tropical island setting guaranteed to make your Barbados vacation unforgettable. This charming seven bedroomed property is reminiscent of an elegant Georgian style home, surrounded by an extensive terrace, a resplendent well-manicured garden brimming with tropical greenery and colorful orchids, an enchanting lily pond and is just steps from the white sand of beautiful Reeds Bay, one of the West coast’s many magnificent beaches.
Built with a natural coral stone, this elegant home was designed by Oliver Messel and the Georgian influence has been maintained throughout the interior to create a warm, yet refined ambience. The furnishings are an elegant mix of pastels and soft whites, adding personality to each room. Well equipped with all modern necessities, the study includes a television, Cable TV, a DVD player, computer, printer, fax and an extensive library. In addition, there are four telephone lines and an internal intercom, making the property an ideal choice for those needing to keep communications open throughout their stay.
Mango Bay has been designed for lavish entertaining, complemented by a five-star service provided by the friendly villa team, including a butler, a chef/cook, a laundress, a housekeeper and night security. With a separate guest cottage, there are multiple formal and casual living and dining areas that can accommodate all guests comfortably – amongst them a large and elegant living room which opens out onto the sunny terrace, a graceful dining pavilion overlooking the pool, and an enchanting dining pagoda with its’ beautiful coral stone table seating fourteen, which is accessed by a quaint pathway through the foliage to a hidden away corner of the garden facing the sea.
With many options for sleeping arrangements, the villa boasts 7 bedrooms: 5 in the main house and 2 in the separate guest house which is located just steps away across the lawn area. The impressive master suite (available on request, and when the house is booked as a 7 bedroom property) has an adjoining marble bathroom and features two single beds which convert to a king, remote controlled air conditioning and two telephone lines. Three additional double bedrooms are located within the main house, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The remaining bedroom in the main house is a single room and can be found in the main wing. Two further king size bedrooms are to be found in the guest cottage.
Outside, Mango Bay offers to its guests the most stunning Caribbean setting, complemented by outstanding facilities. The sparkling private pool sits alongside a delightful terrace, which is surrounded by dense tropical greenery, affording complete privacy. Sun loungers are provided for guest use and are the ideal spot for admiring the breathtaking views of the sunset over the aquamarine waters and hearing the sound of the waves on the beach. In the evening, soft lighting creates a romantic ambience, and guests relish refreshing drinks on the open terrace under the twinkling stars above.

LOCATION DETAILS
Reeds Bay is a beautifully quiet beach, with soft sand and calm waters ideal for swimming. There are mature trees bordering it, providing lots of shade and making this a lovely spot for picnics on the beach. It has all the right ingredients for that idyllic Bajan beach - the warm sunshine on the white sand, surrounding nature and peacefulness that the sea brings. This is the perfect location for those who are in need of some serious relaxation.
As a guest of this villa, you will be superbly positioned, just a few minutes’ drive from Speightstown, a charming and vibrant center of activity featuring many historical buildings and 15 minutes’ drive from Holetown, where you will find some of the best shopping in Barbados. Holetown also offers a fine selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, duty free shopping as well as many high-end stores and boutiques to browse. There are also two lovely hotels nearby, Glitter Bay and the Royal Pavilion, both no more than a five minute drive away.
For the more active guest, there are superb sporting facilities close by, including fabulous tennis facilities and a gym at nearby Holetown and wonderful golf courses including three beautiful courses at Sandy Lane and a further, very challenging course at Royal Westmoreland which boasts an ocean view from every hole.

Mango Bay is so unique - it really combines old world charm with beachfront luxury. The grounds are so stunning & the staff are wonderful. I'd highly recommend to our guests who love the Messel style. They'll love it - there's so much character here. Good to know that there are 5 bedrooms in the main house & 2 in the guest cottages.
